Students from Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Secondary School who did exceptionally well last year received recognition for their hardwork in an award ceremony that was held on 2nd July 2013 for BC-GCE 'O' LEVEL 2011 & 2012 as well as Year 7 to Year 10 for 2012.

Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the Minister of Development ( Timbalan Pengerusi Lembaga Pengarah 1, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah) handed over the awards to the students.

Year 7 Top Student 2012 went to Idlan Qayyum bin Abdul Mohaimin.
